. Did you know that in the ten years after 1928 the Whakatane County increased its population by 54.41 per cent? In the same time the town increased bv 22.56 per cent. Compared with this, the Tauranga County increased by. 24.81 per cent and the town by 32.88 per cent while in , Opotiki the increase was 15.86 and , 18.37 respectively.
