There were 500 people present, a A T ery large proportion being in fancy dress and thci costumes, sonic-dainty and beauti ful, and others intentionally comic, made a kaleidoscopic-like picture.: - As usual there:were a number -of excellent sets and pairs, the prize winners being the Darky Town quartette which A\-as really good in conception and execution. Since it was the club's oAvn dance. Mokorua members formed a. clever group of 17 men and Avomcn. their bright costumes each bearing one letter of the club's name.
