v SCHOOL CHILDREN VISIT THEATRE ] 4 SCREENING OF ROBIN HOOD. r Who has not known and loved the story of the adventures of the hero Robin Hood. Since childhood everyone of us can recall the thrill with ' \vhich lib romance in old Sherwood Forest with Maid Marion, his band of gay outlaws, and the manner in which he fleeced the fat Norman Bar.anp ions, inspired our more imaginative " days. The same of excitement and enthusiasm gripped the juvenile audiences that attended the Regent ' Theatre earlier in the week where 1 special sessions were provided by the management for the benefit of district school children. The film 'The - Adventures of Robin Hood' in beautiful technicolour, was an ideal educational treat for the pupils, who thork oughly enjoyed every minute,of it, and gave full vent to their 'feelings when the more exciting scenes Xhwfc 1 place. The manager of the theatre, has ' nothing but the highest praise for the jj L manner in which the children behav_ > ed during the sessions. ''There ws-5 not the slightest hint of disorderliness or rowdism, and I think their behaviour in every way a real credit to themselves and their teachcrs,** y he said.
