Buy-' ers who Avere present from the Wai.. kato, North Auckland and Palmerston districts obtained a fair number of the offering. The bull Pinedale Stylish's Matchless Duke \va,s purchased by Mr Bond for 38 guineas. Mr Bonner of Pukehuea, North Auckland, bought the cow Palm Grove Dixie at 19% guineas. Mr Drcadon from the same district bought several very nv.M' cows :at from 9gns to 12gns. The sale average was 10 which can be considered very satisfactory considering that a good number of the cattle were showing age.
