o EDGI'.CUMBE CLUB MONTHLY MEETING HELD The monthly meeting of the Edge, cumbe Young Farmers' Club was held recently, when besides the usual atMr C. R. Taylor, district secretary, and Mr C. A. McCracken. Advisory President, were present. General business was discussed, and a committee meeting called for on the 28th inst to discuss a programme for 'the year, also to co-operate in anj' tree planting scheme which Avill be brought up during the Centenary celebrations next yea.r. Arrangements will also be made re the proposed visit of a party of young farmers from North Auckland in July, who will, in all probability pass through Edgecumbe. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the president for his time ■;nd good work put into th? Young Farmers' Court at the recent Bay of Plenty Winter Show. Opportunity is also taken of °.p----■jealing to Lhe Young Farmers of the listrict (of which their are many) n supporting 'there own club, and naterially benefiting by joining and lttending the meetings.
