o HALF-YEARLY INSTALLATION The half-yearly installation of officers in the Edgccumbe branch of the U.A.O.D. wo:; held a.t Awakcri hall on Thursday ia-t. Visitors were pre. sent from Itotorua and Te Puke Lodges a,nd the following officers were installed bv District President Sister Harris: Junior Pa t Arch: Bro J. C, ittschc"Arch Druid: Bro W. Oiborn:'; Vice Arch, Sister Villis; Inner Guard an. Bro Daniels: Outer Guardian: Bro Iv. Melville; Arch Druid Bards: Bros D. and V. Nea'i: Yi'-o Arch Birds: Sisters Neai and Latham. The ceremony was performed with impressive dignity and the D. f\ Sister Harris was heartily congrr.tulat. Ed for the splendid performance. Past Arch Bro W. Neal senior was then presented with his P.A. collar and diploma, he having completed 'lis term of office in the lodge. All officers made short speeches of thanks for having been elected A good supper was served by the social committee. The evening was spent in dancing to music Supplied by P. A. Bro Thompson and P. A. Bro Villis and a very pleasant evening concluded with the singing of Aukl Lang Syne.
