KILLED NEAR \V T AIM AN A A young kiwi was caught and killed by dogs on Tahora Station, Wai. mana i last week while mustering was in progress. Mr J. D. Leather, owner of tlie station, was unable to reach his dogs in time to save the bird's life. It was a very young bird .>v, 1 cannot have been more than three or four months old, so obviously the parents are still in the locality. The bird was sent down to Whakatane by Mr Leather and it was shown to children at the Whakatane schools. Later it wa s given to Mn; Hayter its exhibition at the Wha katane Hotel created a good deal of interest. Banish fat quickly the healthful way with, Bonkpra. Safe reducing treatment. See IP. G.
