LORRjY, DRIVER- RELEASED , REMAND.ON INTOXICATION CHARGE , -v When he appeared before Mf A. Brabant J.P., in the police court on Wednesday morning on a charge of intoxication Avhile in, charge of a motor vehicle William Nathan, lorry driver, of Edgecumbe, was remanded for a week until May 31. Nathan was leleased on bail of with one surety of £50. The condition of Jimmie Tarutuku. of Te Teko, the native who was allegedly run over by Nathan's truck., is stated by the Whakatane Hospital to be improving. He is suffering from slight concussion and is still under observation. '
