WHAT THE TOA CARRIED
Two sets of gear were in use to unload the Toa, which sailed again on Saturday afternoon for Auckland with approximately 1700 boxes of buitter, 80 crates of cheese and about 300 empty drums.
Her inward loading was a full general cargo, including 20 tons of cement, and a good deal of potatoes flour and other weighty sacked goods besides petrol. She was drawing Oft lOin when she went aground on Thursday near the Flat Rock and the petrol and some other cargo was lightered off her, the Harbour Board's punt being used.
