PREPARING FOR THE RACE OF THE YEAR.—Britain's champion runner, Sydney Wooderson, holder of the world record for the • mile, and also the hall' mile is preparing for his great American adventure. In June next he is to meet the best of the American runners over a mile at the famous Princetown Bowl. Glenn Cunningham, whose world mile record Wooderson lowered by onc.iil'th of a second, to 4.6 3-5, will be his principal opponent.
