MR C. MORRISON FAREWELLII) SEVERAL PRESENTATIONS Mr C. F. Morrison, who this Wick leaves Whakatane to teach at the Waipu High School, was farewclled by the stall' and pupils of the \Vha_ katane school last .Friday. Atcer morning tea Mr C. C. Sou they piesented Mr Morrison with two valuable books on behalf of the staff. Me congratulated Mr Morrison on h;s promotion, but he said he was very sorry to see him leave the Whaka. tane school a s for the la at nine years he had pulled his weight over all school matters and his services wexi? much appreciated by the committee and by himself. Further references to Mr Morrison's work at school "were made by Miss M. Whiteside and by Mr Bi£elo\v on behalf of the High School, After play time Bdtty Pearson from the Standard Six pupils pre. scnted iNIr Morrison with a book and on behalf of the school Brian Breen (High School) gave Mr Morrison a standing oak hook stand. Mr Morrison in reply said he had. spent nine happy years in W hakatane and all his relations at tnc school were going to he very peasant memories.
