REGRADING
MEN TO PLAY AS JUNIORS
The Whakatane Rugby Sub-Union executive at its meeting at Tanea— tua last night discussed regrading of players. The Paroa. Club asked for the following players to be regraded: Koro Kingi, Chris Murray, ivahtl Butler, Kooti Kingi, Charlie Wharewera. Discussion followed on these players. Members pointed out that the; constitution set an age limit at years for juniors. Murray was an exsenior player. Mr L. Ormond said the idea of ant age limit was that some years ag<» young junior teams were getliniS. knocked about by older players. Jt was agreed that the list should be accepted 'with 'the exception- of Murray whose case was to be put be.* fore the New Zealand Union. The Taneatua list of: C. Gee and D. Frankland was approved. , SEASON TICKETS RfJGJJY UNION'S DECISION The executive of the Whakatane Rugby Sub-Union at its meeting last night decided that 5s should be the charge for season tickets covering admission to club games only. . 1 It was decided to send the season / tickcts to the life members, gentlemen who had given donations and t<% the retiring president Mr Albert Stewart.
