ONEPU TROOP
ROUND OF ACTIVITIES
The Oiiepu Scout Troop lias on. -gaged in two outings recently as well as holding its regular weekly meetings. A visit was paid to r,he Whakatane power supply plant, which is now used as a ''stand by." On Easter Monday opportunity was taken of the fine weather to climb Mt Edgecumbe, all participating having a strenuous, but enjoyable tirm\
It is pleasing to know that thu*_ teen scouts have qualified for their troop badges as under:
"Second Class" Badge: Scouts K. Storer, R. Jamieson, J. Craddock, B. Knight, D. Thompson, V. O'Brien, A. O'Brien, E. Eivers, A.. Ml.
"Tenderfoot'' Badge: Scouts I. Ma:. .<lonald, A. O'Brien, K. Linsell, L.
Davis.
