James Stewart, The Manse, Taneatua. Mr G. McL. Wallace, accoYnpanied by Mr N. Wallace, paid a visit to Whakatane on Monday to attend a meeting of directors of D- McL. Wallace Ltd. Mr W. S. Henderson, Whakatane, > secretary of the Bayvof Plenty Rugby Union and one of the Bay's delegates to the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union left for Wellington on Monday. He accompanied Mr W. T. Burrett, Bay President. He signed on the Maimoa on her last trip from' New Zealand, and he says that the sea life has made him feel fitter than for years. He found the trip through the Panama Canal very impressive.
