Guests at thp New Commercial Hotel recently have included Mr lay Jor, Mr Emery, Dr Taylor, Mr Valentine. Mr Moore, Mr Page, Miss Lawson. Dr and Mrs R. Grigor, Wiiaka. tane, are at present staying at the New Commercial Hotel. They were recently married in Wellington, and have now completed their honeymoon; To celebrate the Hist birthday of Mr John Clark, of Waihou, nearly 'forty of his cliildren and grandchildren met at the residence of his daughter, Mrs Alf Lennard, at Wnihou, during the week-end says the Hay of Plenty Times. Relatives came from Auckland, Whakalane. Te Aw amain and Tauranga, and eight of Mr Clark's ton children and nearly 20 grandchildren were present. 31'- Clark came to New /.calami in the sailing sh'n Wellington, which vova'grd from Glasgow to Duncdin in 95 days in 1576.
