PEDIGREE SIRE
— O ABERDEEN ANGUS BULL IMPORTATION TO DOMINION Although Aberdeen' Angus bulls sold in one or two instances at great prices at the Perth sales, the top bull from the Earl of Rcsebsrrv's herd at' Dalmeny making 2000 gns., and the reserve to the former, who was a champion, a bull from Derculich, making 1000 gns., many bulls sold cheaply. Mr Donald Grant, of Mangataro, Dannevirke, secured the second prize bull ill the April class (10 months old and younger) for 130 gns. This bull Berman of Dunira, was bred by Mr W. Gilchrist Macbeth, former dent of .the Aberdeen Angus Society who visited New Zealand and Aus•tralia some years ago. Berman of Dunira is described Its a well-bred bull, ■his sire having won championship honours at' the English Royal Show. The reserve champion bull, Erupto of Derculich, was bred by Mr R. Wemyss Honey man, who also bred Mr John Ogilvie's New Zealand Royal champion of some years ago.
