TN pursuance of “Tho Regulation of X Elections Act 1870,” I, Fbancis Edwards Hamlin, Returning Officer for the Electoral .District of the East Coast do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ, bearing date the 6tn day of December. 1875, under the Public Seal of tho Colony, an Election will be held for tho return of Ono qualified person to servo as a Member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at tho “-Court-house, Native Department,” Tauranga, at noon, on tho Twenty-ninth day of December, 1875, and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken on the Sixth day of January, 1876.
