The Auckland whaling brigantine Magellan Cloud put in under the Mount for shelter on Friday, the 10th instant., Being short of hands, and unable to procure them* at Tau* ranga, she left with a light* wind on Sunday last for Auckland or the Bay of Islands to make up her complement; The schooner Elizabeth, Captain Dickson, bound from Mercury Bay to Napier, with a cargo of timber, put in on the 13th for stores, head winds preventing her from making any progress across the Bay of Plenty, REQUISITION.
