MR WILLIAM KELLY AND THE APPROACHING ELECTION.
u Too quick by half. 5 ' TO THE EPITOE. Sib,— Does Mr Kelly mean to ccercs the electors of Tauranga by getting up an Opotiki requisition and advertising it in your iasue of the 20th insfc., he being a member of the Progress Committee recently appointed, and' knowing Oapt. Morris to belong to the same ? I think he should have had the courtesy to await a meeting of said committee before flying into print, for I consider it their duty to ©ail a public meeting of the electors of Tauranga for the purpose of choosing itafuture representative. Sir, it appears to me being a representative is a paying game, or why should Mr Kelly be in sucb a violent hurry about, retaining it after four yearn of true patriotic display ia tho Assembly. — I am, &t\, JEHEY JISOIE* Taurauga, Not. 28,1875.
