MR 11. KIRK’S REPLY TO MR GRACE.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—lf you are nob quite tired of all this letter writing, respecting a few chains of fencing that Sir Grace has had to put up in order to separate his paddocks from the public road, will you allow me for the second and last time to state that Mr Grace and bis two (I don’t know who they both are) witnesses arc quite wrong in stating that I said I will not use the road if'lt is opened. After telling Mr Grace I should leave the matter as it then stood, and in our conversation pointing out to him the mischief Lis petition Lad done, viz , throwing nearly the whole of one year’s rates into a swamp, I think his (Mr Grace’s) assertions are all nonsense. H END'S: XIBK. Tauranga, August 28, 1874. [This discussion must now close.—Ed.]
