TAURANGA COUNTRY BOARD.
FIRST MEETING OF NEW TRUSTEES. Messrs Edgcumbe, fLundon, J. A. Chadwick, Campny- and R. Hill, the newly-elected Trustees of this Board, met, by kind permission of Mr Norris, at his store, Tauranga, on Thursday afternoon last. CHAIRMAN. On the motion of Mr Roger Hill, seconded by Mr London, Mr E. M. Edgcumbe, was unanimously elected Chairman of the Board for tho ensuing year, TREASURES. Mr Lundon proposed, and Mr Campny seconded, Mr Hill as Treasurer. Carried unanimously. SECRETARY. The Chairman was »ui lionised to communicate win Mr T. J. Bradley regarding bis acceptance of the office of Secretary— salary to bo £ls per annum. The Board adjourned until eleven o’clock this morning, when a considerable amount of business will be brought forward.
