TOWN BOARD MEETING YESTERDAY.
The fortnightly meeting of the Town Board was held yesterday morning at the usual hour and place. Preant : all the members. SPUING BTJIEBT. After some discussion, it was agreed that Mr Burrows be requested to prepare plan and specifications for the formation of th© left aide of bpring'Btreet frcm the Beach. FINANCE. **- It r£ aß b J Mr Norris, seconded by Tnonias VV rigley, &nd carried unaniinoiisJy, ** rjLbft t Secretary be instructed to summon Mr Hopkins Clarke forthwith for the recovery of the amount of rates leved upon the dwelling house in To Papa, the property of the General Government, now in the occupation of Mr Hopkins Clarke.” TOWN FOOTPATHS. Proposed by Mr Wricley, seconded by Mr Norris, and carried, “ That in future no person be allowed to lay any material on the footpath from Cook’s corner to the house lately occupied bv Mr Fio.vd, on the Beach road, without permission first-had and obtained from the Board.” Tub Board then adj mrned.
