Prices have stood at from 4s 6d to 4s 7d ; but, at these rates, buyers are not anxious to lay in stocks, Eor flour there is no great demand from the other provinces. Quotations remain as follows -£l2, in sacks ; £l3 10s, in 1001 b bags ; £l3, for 501 b bags, with 10s per ton extra f.o,b. in Lyttelton | bran, £5 ; sharps, £6. Oats have come in more freely during the week, the price—■ 4s 3d-—having induced several farmers to deliver, who previously bad been holding back. The oats are turning out lightly, and it is generally considered that the average shewn by the agricultural statistics is considerably over the mark. The brewers are giving from 5s to 5s 3d for prime samples of barley. Grass seeds, 4s 3d to 4s 6d. Butter still sells readily at Is ; cheese is dull at 4d to 4Jd ; bacon and hams are unchanged at 9id f.o b. There have been a few early deliveries of potatoes at £2 10s per ton.
