The Good Templars held their anniversary soiree last night. Over 500 persons were present. H. H. Lusk presided, arid 'made an excellent speech. He said that Good Templars would have to spend money in carrying out (he crusade against the liquor traffic, as vested interests had to be considered. This sentiment was received with dissent. One feature in the programme wag the impersonation of a drunken man by a youthful Templar. The Sfar this evening condemns this exhibition as insulting to the intelligence of persona present.
