TO THE EDITOR. Sih, —-Although I have often looked with contempt and disdain on some individuals who have spread aomo news about me, in stating that I have been in prison, &c. I now caution those poor wretches, and beg to inform them that X never have been such as thej have represented me to be with some of my friends j and it will be far better for them to cease to carry such news, for if not, I shall take proper measures to stop them.
