In our issue of Saturday wo published a letter from Wi Marsh fce Rangikaheke, of Ohlwa, complaining that some report had appeared in this journal as to Ins tribe having commenced fighting in consequence erf the negotiations of the Land Purchase Commiasionera in that locality. Wi Marsh is mistaken. Such information was published by an Auckland contemporary, and not ia the Bast of Peektv Times. Wo have received from the publishers a copy of Rood arid Brett’s Auckland Almanac for tha present year, and can cordially recommend it t« the notice of our subscribers as a most useful and excellent publication. It should bo found in every household. Coffee! —Brown, Barrett, and Co.’s Standard Coffee is both delicious and strong. Brown* Barrett, vnd Co.’s Excelsior Coffee deserves preference to any Coffee on account of purity and distinctness of flavour. Note the brands 1 Bold at almost every Grocery Establishment in Town and Province.— £Advt.J
