We learn by telegram that business in uckland during this week has been more than usually active, probably owing to the near approach of Father Christmas, which is a great spur to trade in a large city. In it is exactly the reversal; as European and native agriculturist* are ail very busy. After the holidays it is probable that commercial matters will “ look up.”
