NOTICE. QWNERS of UNREGISTERED DOGS will be PROSECUTED after the expiration of one month from the date hereof. Extract from “ The Dog Nuisance Act, 1861.” “ If any dog shall on any highway or on any unenclosed place rush at or attach any person, or any cattle, whereby the life or limbs of any person shall bo endangered, or any cattle or other property injured, the owner of such dog ahall forfeit and pay any sum not exceeding FIVE POUNDS, without prejudice to any claim for the damage done by ruoh dog.” The said Act is in force within the limits of the Town of Tauranga, and comprised therein is the land situated between To Papa Point and the Cate Pa, together with the Tillage of Greerton.
