N O T I C E. r l ENDERS in duplicate will be received at the x District Office, Tauranga, up to 4 o’clock p in., on Jb JEiIDA Y, L4th November, 1873, tor the SUPPLY of the undermentioned RATIONS and L LOUT, in bulk, in the Tauranga District, viz., at r li: Teko and Galatea (separate tenders), in such quantities as the Officer Commanding maj direct, from trie Ist December, 1873, to the 3(Jth November, 1874. The Ration to consist of — Dread, lift, or Biscuit, 14 it Meat, 14 lb Sugar, 2oz Tea, I-6th oz Coffee, :joz Pepper, l-36th oz Salt, 4oz. The scale of Light to bo the same aa in force for the Imperial troops. That, and the conditions the contractor will have to sign on his tender being accepted, may be seen at tbo Government Store, Tauranga. Also, a Ration of— Biscuit, IJflb Sugar, 4oz. The T 011 der to state the Kate per Ration, including the Scale of Light. Also, to state the Rata per Bread, Grocery, and Meat Ration separately, so that in the event of the contractor supplying more of one of these particular Rations than another during a mouth, he may be paid for those in addition to the complete ration. These three items added together must not exceed the price of a full ration. Also, to state the rate per fb of each article separately. The Contractor, if required, will have to supply three-quarters (f) of a pound of Bacon and threeeighths (i) of a pound of Biscuit in lieu of one and a half (14) pounds of Meat, bat may tender at an extra rate for this particular ration.
