NOTICE. r J’ENDEB3 in duplicate will be received at the X District Office, Tauranga, up to 4 o'clock p. rn., on FRIDAY, lit-h November, 1873, for the SUPPLY of the undermentioned RATIONS and LIGHT, in bulk, in theTaurangu District, viz., at To Teko and Galatea (separate tenders), in such quantities aa the Officer Commanding may direct, from the Ist December, 1873, to the 3Uth November, 1874. The Ration to consist of— Bread, 141 b, or Biscuit, liib Meat, 141 b Sugar, 2>iz Tea, 1 6tb oz Coffee, 4oz Peppor, I-36th oz Salt, |oz. The scale of Light to be the same aa in force for the Imperial troops. That, and the conditions the contractor will hove to sign on his tender being accepted, may bo seen at the Government Store, Tauranga, Also, a Ration of— Biscuit, 141 b Sugar, 4oz. The Tender to state the Hate per Ration, including the Scale of Light. Also, to elate the Rats per Bread, Grocery, and Meat Ration separately, so that in the event of the contractor supplying more of one of those particular Rations than another during a mouth, ho may bo paid for those in addition to the complete ration. These three items added together must not exceed the price of a full ration. Also, to state the rate per ft of each article separately. The Contractor, if required, will have to supply three-quarters (f) of a pound of Bacon and threeeighths (I) of a pound of Biscuit in lieu of one and a half (It) pounds of Meat, but may tender at an extra rate for this particular ration.
