Mb Bod ell, auctioneer and commission agent, reports for the month of October:—“Sales of horses have been limited during the month ; I have disposed of several good hacks at fair prices. Milch cows brought from £7 to £lO 10s. I have sold several villa residences, which realised very good prices. Several building lots also sold well. I held several sales of household furniture during the month j the bidding on each occasion was spirited, and the goods brought highly satisfactory prices. I sold about twenty tons of potatoes at from £4 10 to £5 ; maize, 4s to 5s Gd per bushel. During the month many visitors have arrived inquiring for farms. Xam at present negotiating for several. I have also had several applications for business sites.”
