Two gunmakers are charged in Resident Magistrate’s Court to-day with selling arms without licenses. The cases are still proceeding. Inspector Thompson is prosecuting. The Superintendent is here—it is said in Mr Lusk’s interest. Mr Gillies declines positively to stand again himself. First-rate gold in No 4 winzco of Caledonian. Considerable excitement over it.
