We have seen a new “ tip ” dray built bj Mr R. P. Roller to the order ofTeninini, of Oamakarau. This is the first dray manufactured in Tauranga, and is therefore worthy of a passing notice. The vehicle is made of blue gum, is of febe usual size, and will bear favourable comparison with Auckland made drays. It is to be hoped that settlers will in this, and indeed in every instance, “encourage local industry.” Mr Teninini is evidently a shrewd financier, and believes in keeping the money in the district ; he has set European settlers an example which they will do.well.to follow in all and every of iheir dealings.
