Bxx of Plenty Times Office, Friday Evening. Mr James Bobell, auctioneer, reports for the mouth of July:—-“Early in the past month medium hacks realised from £4 to £9 each. Cattle sold at fair prices ; fat stock scarce. Sheep (good stores) : Several small lots sold at good prices. During the month I have sold several consignments of fruit, ornamental trees, and shrubs at satisfactory prices. A consignment of Newcastle eo.al (22 tons) realised from £3 to £3 3s. Two er. -’goes of potatoes from Opotiki were quitted at £4 10s to £5 per ton ; Derwent potatoes (seed), rood sample, realised £lO. During July, I disposed of several town allotments of land and two
■ irm sections ot 150 acres each. Several buyers ot large blocks from the Southern provinces and elsewhere arrived requiring|propertie& from 1,000 = o -0,000 acres. At present several gentlemen a c inquiring for farms of 300 to 500 acres.’’
