ISSUE OP £250,000 KEW ZEALAND G-OTERNMENT DEBENTURES IN NEW ZEALAND.
Treasury, Wellington, April 8, 1873. TENDERS are invited for the purchase of the whole or any portion of Two Hundred and Thousand Pounds New Zealand Government Debentures, issued under the Acts of the LegislaV I Colony, entitled “The Immigration and Public Works Loan Act, 1870,” and “The Defence and Other Purposes Loan Act, 1870 ” subject to the under-mentioned conditions : 2. X. The Debentures will be payable to Bearer, and will be issued in sums of not less than One Hundred Pounds each. The Debentures, which are secured on the Consolidated Revenue of the Colony, will hear interest at the rate of 4* per cent- per annum, payable half-yearly, on the 15th day of April and the 15th day of October in each year, at the Bank of New Zealand at Auebland, New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier, Nelson, Blenheim, Christchurch, Grevmouth, Hokitika, Dunodin, or Invercargill. principal sum will be payable on the loth day of April. 1913, at the Treasury at Wellington, or at any Branch of the Bank of New Zealand, in New Zealand, at the option of the holder, six months’ notice being required, previous to maturity, of the place at which payment will be required. Tenders be opened at the Treasury at WellmgtoQ at noon on Friday, the 9th day Oi. May next, in the presence of such of the tenderers as desire to be present—the minimum price under seal being first placed on the table.
