TO TUB EDITOR. Snt. —At tho present time, as is tho case gener* ally just previous to the nomination of candidates for tho legislative honours, there is considerable u-.UVirenco o£ opinion amongst communities as to the most suitable man to represent the suffrages. Being an interested person, I cannot resist the opportunity of recommending to this community our highly respected fellow citizen, Mr George Carthy, a gentleman of well-known political ability, colonial experience, and who also from his long residence hero possesses extensive knowledge of local requirements. On account of Mr Carthy’s well-known sentiments, T have confidence that if he be the successful candidate, that the future progress of Tauranga will gratify the ardent hope* of Uio moat sanguine.—1 am, Ac,, CINO i NATTCO.
