Tho Southern Cross toys :—” By tho arrival of the Rowcna, Mr John Williamson, M. 11,11,, was a passenger from his tour in the northern parts of the province. We have been informed that, on Tuesday last lie held a meeting at Russell at Mr Williamson’s place, when there was a very good attendance, and that his address was very well received. From thence he proceeded to Wanga* roa, accompanied by Mr Bolds hip. There was not time to hold a meeting there, and they proceeded on to Mangonui. At this place Mp Williamson held a meeting at Mr Fraser’s, end addressed the electors. iho meeting was largely attended, and the views enunciated by the speaker were well received. We understand that it is Mr Williamson’s intention to proceed toWbangarei by the Challenger, when he will address the electors, and then proceed overland to Albcrtland. On his return from tho latter place it is hia intention to visit tho Thames and Coromandel districts.” Mr Williamson will also shortly bo in Tuuranga on electioneering thoughts intent. Tho next sittings of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand will bo held at the Supreme Courfc House, Wellington, an the ISth of May next.
