(First race to commence at 11 a m.) Maiden Plate : £lO ; 1 mile and a distance ; entry, £l. For all horses that never have won an advertised race. Ladies’ Pusse : £l2; 1 mile and a quarter; entry, £1 ss. Hurdle Race ; £lo ; 2 miles 5 over sis flights of hurdles (3ft 4in in height) ;■ entry, £1 10s. Pony Race : £7 ; 1 mile ; entry, 15s. For ponies not over 14 hands high. Teottino Race : £5 ; 2 miles ; entry, 12s. Taueanoa Plate : £25; 1 mile and a half; entry, £2 2s. Hack Race (post entries) : Silveb Cur. presented by Proprietors Bay of Plenty Times, with entrances added ; I mile and a half; entry, 10s. Consolation Stakes (post entries) : £5 ; 1 mile ; entry, 12s. RULES AND REGULATIONS. In all cases the weights will be catchweights. All protests to be made in writing, and the decision of the Stewards to be final. No person shall enter any horse or horses unless he be a subscriber to the amount of one guinea. Colours worn by riders must be named at lime of entrance, or they will be disqualified. Jockey Club rules adhered to. All entries to be made before 8 30 p.m. on SATURDAY, the 28th December next, to Lewis Samuels, E*q., Treasurer, The Second Day’s Amusements will consist of ATHLETIC SPORTS, ETC., full particulars of which will appear in future Advertisement.
