The Luna left for Auckland on Saturday afternoon, at 3 o’clock, with original passengers and the following from Tauranga : —Captains Turner and Maraotn, Mr Hopkins Clarke. The Luna may be expected here on Saturday cn route for Wellington. t The Southern Cross arrived ic harbour at 3 o’clock on Sunday afternoon, after a good trip from Auckland. She brought a large amount of general cargo and a full complement of passengers. The Cross is becoming more popular every trio, and passengers always appear pleased with her speed and capital accommodation. She left for Opotiki on Monday, and will proceed to Auckland this evening.
