X EW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT INSURANCE AND ANNUITIES. ABSOLUTE SECURITY LIFE AKJS LOW BATES OF PREMIUM. The Government, having been empowered by special Acts of the Legislature to enter into contracts for Insurances on Lire?, and for the grants of Annuities and Endowments, are now prepared to execute any of the usual contracts dependent upon the contingencies of human life. Trie following advantages are presented as deserving of public attention, and especially of the Working Classes : 1. All transactions, and powers of attorney and other documents, are free of Stamp Duty and all taxation. 2. No charge is made beyond the purchase-money or premium, which may be paid half-yearly or quarterly. 3. Should the assured die curing the clays of grace, the policy will still be valid. 4. Surrender values are granted on the whole or any part of a contract which has endured for five years. 3, The tables of Premiums in. all the branches are considerably lees than ia any other office in New Zealand. 6. Residence is permitted in any part of the Australasian Colonies and Europe, and premiums may be paid on the due dates at the nearest Money Order Office. 7. Insurances effected for {he benefit of and settled on Wife and Children are free, to the extent of £2,000, from the claims of Creditors. 8. Ti e Consolidated Revenue of the Colony is liable for all claims, in. the event of the receipts, which are duly invested at compound interest, at any time being insufficient to meet demand?, thus affording the bestsecurity to the Assured. IN compliance with the recommendation contained in the Report of the Joint Committee on Colonial Industries, 1871, to the effect that a bo nus of £2,500 should be offered for the first 100 tons of Printing Paper produced by Machinery, such bonus to be in addition to any that may be offered by any Province, it is hereby notified that such reward will be paid on the fulfilment of the following COSDIXION3. The Paper to be manufactured in New Zealand by machinery permanently established and working in the Colony. The required quantity to be completed before tb« 30th June, 1874.
