RESOURCES. Irrespective of the immense annual revenue of this Society, gradually and surely on the increase, it possesses a Reserve Fund of £2,300,000 and upwards, available for its requirements. RATES OF PREMIUM Are framed as low as are consistent with the due safety of the Society, and its Actuary is calculated to be one of the most competent authorities in England, the Court of Chancery having recently had to avail themselves of his experience in these matters ; and although apparently higher than some offices, assurers should not lose sight of the fact that they receive it back, either in bonuses or in addition to sums secured, and in electing to insure in this Society, they also avail themselves of the experience and safety of a concern that time has proved to be secure against all chances.
