MELANCHOLY DEATHS.

Tho unfortunate deceased was found lying with his head on tho floor, face downwards, his foot ou the bed, ami completely dressed. Thera was no other inmate j n the house. At the inquest held, yesterday it trampirr-d that ho had been hv-fc seen alive on Saturday evening at 7 o’clock by Mr, Salt, ami was then in apparent good health and spirits, when the bed, «ar; viewed, there were evidences of deceased having fa Hen out of bed in a til ; marks of froth were observed or the lips. the face was considerably abrasert, and a small pool of blood was on the earthen floor, which was scraped as if hv the hands o! a person in ast ruggle. Not very long ago he received a legacy of considerable value, which he has unfortunately not lived long to enjoy. The circumstances of hia death seeming to be unusual, an inquest was considered advisable, and evidence was elicited as to the cause of death.
