HURRY ALONG YOUR STORIES!

How are those short stories going, boys and girls? There are only three more days until the August competition closes

For the benefit of those who have missed the previous announcements and who may already have a story written (or perhaps would like to write one over the week-end!), here are the details of the competition: Each month the best short story received wins a prize of half-a-crown with merit cards to the next best, entries. The closing date is the last day of the month, and entries must be not more than 600 words in length. This is a chance for boys and girls to show the literary talent which we know exists among Sunbeams.

This drawing is good for a nineyear - old. The artist is Rex Firth, Point Chevalier.
