Hale—Peters.—The engagement Is announced between Driver Jack Hale, sixth son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Hale, Takapuna, and Joan, third daughter of Mr. R. Peters and the late Mrs. Peters, Papanui, Christchurch.
Riach—Fraser.—The engagement is announced between Daphne Margaret, eldest daughter of Mr. W. Fraser, of Orakei, Auckland, and Sergeant Jack Cameron Hiach, 2nd N.Z.E.F., eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Riach.
