Tv, xt stated this morning that the New Zealand Retail Tobacconists and Hairdressers' Federation had applied for an increase in the charge for shaving owing to the additional cost of materials used laundering and overhead wages' These had increased to such an extent as to make the 9d shave uneconomic.
