CANADIAN PARATROOPS
Rec. 9.30 a.m. OTTAWA, July 28. Colonel Ralston, Minister of Defence, announced in the House of Commons that a battalion of Canadian paratroops had been authorised and training would be started soon. Instructors would leave for the United States to observe the paratroops training there. Co-operation the Canadian Air Force and the paratroops was being arranged.
