Colonel F. L. G. West, Northern Regional Commissioner, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. J. L. Menzies, Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, is at the Station Hotel. Mr. F. Maurice Clarke, manager of Union Airways, arrived from Wellington yesterday and is at the Station Hotel. Mr. A. V. Sutton, inspector of factories in Palmerston North for four years, is being transferred to Oamaru to take charge of the branch of the Labour Department. Lieutenant-General E. Puttick, General Officer Commanding Dominion Military Forces, arrived from Wellington yesterday, and is staying at the Station Hotel.
