From the committee of the massage department at the Auckland Hospital a letter was received by the !w r tL- wi? ight Statin s that it did • t he com Plaints of persons suffering burns while undergoing treatment merited remarks implying neglect and bad management. Dr. D. McPhee wrote in a similar strain, stating that the loyalty and efficiency of the head of the physiotherapy department were beyond o^ S l!°M'. and suggesting that staff ana building alterations be made to assist the staff in their work. tl T 0 -i 1? o *"*! 011 of tlle chairman, Mr. A. J. Moody, these letters were referred to the complaints committee with authority to co-opt the assistance of Dr Gilberd, acting superintendent. It is time the department had an overhaul," said Mr. Moodv in moving the motion.
