PERSONAL

Mr. Douglas Robb has been appointed a visiting surgeon to the Auckland Hospital. Mr. J. R. Fow, of Hamilton, who is on a visit to Auckland, returns to the Waikato this evening. Mr. C. R. Reisop, of the New Zealand railway headquarters, Wellington, returned south last evening bv the Limited. Mr. M. F. Vigeveno, Netherlands Consul in Wellington, arrived in Auckland this morning and is staying at the Waverley Hotel. Mr. D. Holderness, superintendent and engineer of the Auckland Harbour Board, leaves for Wellington by the Limited this evening. Mr. A. O. Glasse, president of the New Zealand Institution of Engineers. leaves for Wellington this evening to attend a council meeting.
