Hitler's armies batter the Russians farther back, and the peoples of the United Nations wonder when and where and how decisive action will be taken to relieve the pressure on a hard-pressed ally the conclusion is forced upon many of us, reluctantly, that this war, which s nearly three years old, is likely to last much longer. No one doubts tnat the potential resources of the United Nations are fast being transormed mto actual, available resources, stupendous in quantity, but the root difficulty is to bring them to bear against the Axis.
